Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is Ireland's richest and most well-known comedian. Bea was on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea" is a popular Irish actor and writer. She was born on March 16th 1984. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in the year 2011, following appearances in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British series from 2009. She was already regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs and sitcoms. In 2012, after she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear often in various panel shows. Between 2016 and 2017 she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, as well as a participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the daughter of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012 she was the second woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up in the same home as Helen Moloney, a educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. The family was awed by horses, race meetings as well as the race industry. As a young girl, Bea employed as an assistant tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she was not keen on the sport of racing for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
